Squirrels
Welcome to Hucclecote Squirrels – the youngest, and newest section in the Scouts. We welcome girls and boys aged 4-6.
Squirrels can achieve anything they set their minds to – and they have lots of fun along the way.
The one-hour sessions will be a brilliant opportunity for young people to take their first step into being part of Scouts, and they’ll help everyone get ready for the adventure of school too.
Sessions will be packed with outdoors activities, fun, games, badges, laughter, and so much more to help our youngest members learn the skills they need for life.
When do we meet?
Mondays : 4-5pm

What do we wear?
Squirrels are expected to wear a red Squirrel Sweatshirt, and optionally a red Squirrel Polo-shirt, for warmer weather. There are also caps and other accessories available – all of which are optional.
Squirrels should wear trousers and shoes suitable for running around games.
If they need different clothing for the session you will be informed the week before.
For parades, such as St George’s Day and Remembrance Day, school style trousers and school type shoes are required.
Uniform can be purchased from the Scout Shop, based at Murray Hall in Tuffley, or alternatively it can be purchased from the School Shop in Gloucester Town. Please note that each shop works independently so items cannot be exchanged between them. We will provide a blue group neckerchief and red leather woggle on investiture.
